Two Companies Opening Corporate Offices in Palm Beach

Palm Health Partners will open The Institute for Aging Life Science & Research at Abacoa, a short and long term healthcare facility, near Scripps Florida in Jupiter and establish scientific collaboration for patients, their families and researchers. 

The healthcare facility will create 220 jobs with average salaries of $46,000 and an overall capital investment of $ 62 million. Palm Health Partners will collaborate with Scripps Florida scientists for clinical research into the causes and prevention of Alzheimer's disease as well as other neurological and age-related conditions.

The healthcare facility will be built on 8 acres of shovel ready land near Central Blvd and Corporate Way in Abacoa. The project, yet to be built, consists of skilled nursing, assisted living and memory care facilities targeted for completion in 2013. The Scripps Florida Metabolism and Aging Program will partner with the healthcare facility for clinical research into metabolic diseases such as diabetes, the prevention of age-related diseases and neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson and Alzheimer's disease.

The project, when completed, will include: a 90,271 sq ft, three-story, 99-bed skilled nursing and sub-acute service and research center, a 62,980 sq ft, one-story, 70-bed assisted living and life research center and an 18,905 sq ft, one-story, 30-bed memory impaired and neurological research center.

The Business Development Board facilitated meetings and relationships for Palm Health Partners and the Town of Jupiter, Workforce Alliance, Inc. and Scripps Florida on the project. Business Development Board member, Rendina Properties, sold the shovel ready land in Abacoa to Palm Health Partners. Workforce Alliance provided a comprehensive review of workforce training and resources.

An Ohio company is expanding its operations to Palm Beach Gardens and creating 12 jobs after receiving assistance from the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County.

College Profiles International, www.ineedacollege.com is relocating to 4400 N. Corporate Parkway, Palm Beach Gardens, 33410, from Cincinnati, Ohio. Twelve jobs will be created with average salaries of $48,000. College Profiles International provides college search information, consultation and assists in finding scholarships, grants and financial aid for families and students.

The company is expanding to take advantage of the low cost of doing business in Palm Beach County as well as the executive lifestyle available here.
